$500 guy emailed me today. He wants to know if I’m free during the day tomorrow.
hmmm…I guess he hasn’t found someone else so he keeps coming back to me or, like my friend keeps telling me, he’s a cop and I will be his first arrest from seekingarrangement.com!!
I joined 2 other sites this week but I haven’t completed my profiles. One creepy looking guy winked at me. I ignored him. I hate it when they send winks. I may join match.com. I’m getting bored of all the creepy sugar daddys wanna be.
After reading my last post, a friend asked if I felt defeated and the answer is no. I’m disappointed in http://www.seekingarrangement.com but I’m not giving up. Besides, if I give up now, this blog dies! But her statement got me thinking about a comment another friend made, he said I was too good for this site.
Yes, he’s right. I am too good for this site but since I’m not looking for my soulmate, I don’t take any of these guys seriously. I started thinking of all the women who go on this site looking for love and who go on other online dating sites looking for love only to be disappointed because they encounter jerks or men who don’t respect them. In order to find love, you must fall in love with you.
Once you’re in love with you, you will take care of yourself. You’ll be confident and will respect yourself. Once that happens, you will attract men who will respect you and love you. If you come across a man who doesn’t, you won’t have a problem telling him where he can go.
I’ve decided to fall in love with me. It’s going to be a process and I will take the rest of the year to do it. The men on this site don’t affect me but the ones in my life do. I can continue lying to myself saying that I’m not looking for love but the truth is, I am looking for a companion. Someone to share my life with and have fun with.
While I continue to have fun on these sites (I’m joining 2 more sites tonight), I’m going to fall in love with me. Who knows maybe I’ll decide to join a real site to find a companion or maybe I’ll find one walking down the street.
